What immediately stood out in the cabin of the 2023 Kia K5 is the very classy look of the leather upholstery, the strategic use of silver materials in the cockpit, and the flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel.
The dashboard is padded. Jutting straight up in the middle is a tablet-like infotainment touch screen with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and connectivity options like Bluetooth® and USB and Aux-in ports.
It also comes with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a Push-Start button, and a superb fit and finish only seen in luxury models.
The body of the 2023 Kia K5 is underscored by several sporty features, including a stylish version of the ‘Tiger Nose’ grille, angular bumpers, side skirts, a shark’s fin antenna, dual-exhaust tailpipes, and a rear diffuser.
Its exterior equipment is top-notch. It has bi-function LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and position lamps, a rear spoiler with an LED high-mount stop lamp, and LED rear combination lamps.
The sleek figure of the 2023 Kia K5 comes with high aerodynamic efficiency, and its shape cuts through the air and reduces drag while increasing efficiency.

The 2023 Kia K5 offers two powertrains, a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four engine (180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque) and the GT-exclusive 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine (290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque).
Even the slightest and gentlest throttle input gets it moving briskly. Put some pressure on the accelerator, and despite the slight response delay, expect to get pulled back into your seat by its torque.
The sport-tuned suspension system allows it to dive into corners and turn sharply with little to no body roll. The only drawback is the slight stiffness that’s really only noticeable when I hit rough asphalt patches and potholes. But overall, the comfort level was high, and so was its ability to damper noise, vibration, and harshness.
Test drive its different trim levels and check out the various options and packages available to see which 2023 Kia K5 is right for you.
